When did you know you wanted to become a fashion designer… When I was around the age of 8, my friends and I started attending sewing lessons in the winter school holiday’s. By the end of the year ‘Santa’ had brought me a brand new sewing machine and the obsession with fashion and sewing bloomed from there on in.
Which fashion designers inspire you… I love Victoria Beckham’s designs as well as her personal style. She is so slick and chic. Versace I also draw inspiration from as well as Christian Louboutin – what girl doesn’t like diamanté encrusted killer heels?
I would describe my style as… Chic and elegant with a touch of sparkle.
I’m inspired when… I see colour (and this summer – crochet or lace).
The best advice anyone has ever given me was… Never give up. No matter how hard something gets, always believe you will make it…and you will.
In five years time I hope to be… A successful businesswoman and well known women’s fashion designer with hundreds of people wearing my designs!
