When did you know you wanted to become a fashion designer… I have always had a keen interest in fashion from a young age. I was worked in fashion retail for years after leaving school. My dad would always tell me to work hard and to learn as much as I could about the industry, and one day we would set up shop next to them and kick their ass!(his words not mine!:))
Which fashion designers inspire you… Some of my favourites include Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Stella McCartney, Alexander,McQueen, Chloe, Sonia Rykiel and the list goes on………………
I would describe my style as… feminine, fun, flirty and a little just a little bit sexy!!
I’m inspired when… I see beautiful fabrics! My ideas start to flow when I can touch and feel fabrics. As you can see from my collection, I love sequins and embellishments.
The best advice anyone has ever given me was… read my dad’s comments above!
In five years time I hope to be…Kicking ass in my own store.
