Which fashion designers inspire you …I’m a highly influenced by Australian and New Zealand designers…so many of them inspire me!! Lover, Lonely Hearts, Kirrily Johnston, Karen Walker, Camilla and Marc, Therese Rawsthorne, Life with Bird, Willow…just to name a few!
I would describe my style as…Quirky yet feminine with whimsical details.
I’m inspired when…walking down the street, watching a film or documentary, traveling to a faraway place, meeting someone with an incredible story, nursing a cup of tea, having a conversation with an old friend…drinking a glass of red wine…pretty much any other time when I’m not physically at my desk and sitting in front of blank piece a paper with a pen in hand
The best advice anyone has ever given me was…It will never be the absolute perfect or right time to do anything …if you keep putting things off, the opportunity may pass you by…Some of the best experiences in my life have been the most outwardly foolish and irresponsible decisions!
In five years time I hope to be…younger and wiser, well traveled (more so), an inspiring fashion designer…with a well respected label within the Australian fashion industry.
